On The Railway Tracks - new piano composition - feedback much appreciated

As I wrote this, my imagination took hold and the piece developed into an accompaniment for a silent movie scene.  Will the heroine escape in time?

Selling arrangements

So, I want to make and sell arrangements for piano since I can play piano and my ears are pretty good. However, I'm still a young scrub and don't understand copyright law yet.

Is it legal to sell piano arrangements without obtain the copyright to do so? I have 3 pieces that I have't uploaded yet and want to sell (since they're easy enough). I've tried to contact management as well as the producers for these songs about this yet none have replied to me over the course of months.

Welcome!

Hey you guys!

We don't know who's out there who knows or likes the Aetherlight, but we created this board just in case! The Aetherlight, being steampunk, has such a fun, creative soundtrack, and we wanted to bring it to life as much as possible through our arrangements. We have already done ones like the craft theme, the Old Mount theme, etc, but we would love to see you guys choosing a theme from the game and arranging it! This board is just for fun, and if you just want to chill out here that's cool too.

What Happened?

I recently got an email from Musescore stating that my arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody had been removed for "reasons". I then saw that Musecore had removed all Queen-related scores. Does anybody know what has happened? I know that this had to do with copyright issues, but I thought making arrangements based on ear was okay.

Work in progress album, thoughts?

Hi all,

Over the past nine-ish months I've been working on an album titled 'Harper'. It's about a trans girl named Harper who comes out to parents who aren't exactly accepting and in an area that really isn't any better. The only person she has for support is her best friend, Emily. At the end of the album, Harper is brutally murdered by a group of her classmates.

Obviously, I'm not finished, I plan on adding at least four or five more pieces, completely redoing 'Harper & Emily', possibly adding a couple things to 'The Closet', and either remastering or outright redoing 'The Funeral & Harper's Legacy'. However, I'd like some feedback on what I have so far. I've linked the two most recent pieces--'Harper's Theme' and 'Emily's Theme'-- as well as the album set

I need help finding a piece

I don't know if this is appropriate to post here, but I couldn't find anything against it, and the group is labeled as general discussion, so yeah. Anyways, I used to listen to an avant-garde experimental solo accordion piece created by a russian/soviet composer. I don't know if the composer was female but I think she was. Then it vanished out of YouTube for some reason, and I couldn't find it again. One thing unique about that piece is that there are places in the music where the keys are mashed to create tone clusters, and the sheet music for it has some parts where glissandos are notated very T H I C C and huge, for some reason. Also some parts have odd rhythm subdivisions I think. Does anyone have an idea about what is it? Thanks in advance!

Secrets of the Artist's Studio at Night - new instrumental composition - feedback much appreciated

This piece was inspired by a photograph of sculptures in Picasso's Boisgeloup studio. I imagined the sculptures coming to life at night. The piece is for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and Harp.
