I just started playing alto sax last week for a summer program and I think all in all it’s an easy instrument to start off on (maybe because I have been playing clarinet for 3 years). But I am still struggling with holding it. It’s very heavy and sometimes my thumb is swollen from holding it. My friend who has been playing alto sax for 4 years says my sax is bigger than hers. I’m sure its alto because my music teacher gave it to me and I can’t switch it out for a different one. Does anyone have any tips on how to hold the sax? Thxxx and I appreciate it- Flutinetist ^~^

This is a nice app. I use it to tune my guitar. It’s very helpful as accurate. This app also has options to tune other instruments like a violin. And for I think $10, you can get these little fun guitar chord related games, that help teach you the guitar.
Overall, great app. And I highly recommend it.
Well pride month is half way done and I was wondering what was everyone has been doing for pride?
The oboe parts can be covered by the saxophones and I can cover the bassoons with my Bass Clarinet.
Talk about anything!
Hey guys should I get my boyfriend to join, he knows how to play a lot of instruments and he sings and has a amazing, voice. He also composes music for his school orchestra, band, and choir. I’ll only try to get him to join only if u want.
I've been composing music for about a year now, but I've learned a ton about theory and composition in that time, and I've finally finished a piece of music that I can say I really understand. Unlike most of my other compositions in the past, which were mostly just random improvisations, every note in this piece was meticulously chosen to be there. Because of this, I'd really appreciate some critique.

Alright, I'm going to be clarifying a couple things here.
First off, follow the MuseScore Central Guidelines, which can be found here:
Second, only add scores if you think they would be fit for the Orchestra.
Third, all files, like parts for a score, will be shared on OneDrive at https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgAEpzhHSvRYbjsQxxcD1A44KTk?e=HIgT6C
Have fun MuseScoring!
I was wondering what the most common saxophone variant is, whether is be soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone. Can you tell me your type.
