Hi there! I have yet another piece I'm looking for feedback on (again, preferably constructive criticism, but hey). Please comment on the piece itself preferably, but idc if you post here either. https://musescore.com/user/32926686/scores/5720370
wouldnt it be nice if musescore had a group devoted to educating members on music theory, arranging, orchestration... yeah, I know that some high school classes use musescore for teaching music but that isnt exactly what I mean here. I mean a place totally here at musescore where members could make intelligent critical educated helpful comments about music. there are certainly members who are very well educated in music who could help members out with their music, exchange helpful comments, a place where people could actually learn about music rather than the hit or miss experimentation alot of us do. I know I am just talking into the wind, but still, sigh.....oh well.....
Here is the alphabetical list of jazz standards lead sheets that are already done and available in our group. Titles that have been contributed by two or more different group members have additional links to the alternate versions of the leadsheets (noted with "alt chart").
Note that everything can be downloaded as .mscz file and transposed to the key of your choice.
I’ve just been messing around for a total of less than three hours today, getting into overtones, and I can already do (albeit Barely controllable) altissimo squeaks like Leo P on pretty much any fingering.
I'm looking for some sheet music for a talent show in my school if anyone could make some songs?? We had an idea of Don't Stop Believin', Or Livin' on a Prayer with..
hey, what's going on? except for Mozart Forever (yay!), no one wants to post to this group? did the bananas all turn brown? anyone have ideas on how to improve the group?
Some folks have wanted to know, "who is chinadoll?" These one or two folks are musescore members with an abundance of free time and curiosity about trivial issues that have nothing to do with music composition. That said (written), let us (me, this is confusing) be clear, they are very nice people and chinadoll is deeply touched (in the head, most likely) by their interest. So here goes.
Chinadoll has beautiful glossy golden brown hair, large soft eyes, a very quiet shy disposition along with an exceptionally sweet and gentle nature. Chinadoll loves loves fresh fruit (especially bananas) and vegetables. Yes, chinadoll is a Syrian Hamster with a bit of a talent for composing music. Late at night when everyone is asleep, chinadoll will tap out the notes on the home computer using her little paws. She loves attention and lots of gentle petting (especially if you give her a treat).
I just started playing alto sax last week for a summer program and I think all in all it’s an easy instrument to start off on (maybe because I have been playing clarinet for 3 years). But I am still struggling with holding it. It’s very heavy and sometimes my thumb is swollen from holding it. My friend who has been playing alto sax for 4 years says my sax is bigger than hers. I’m sure its alto because my music teacher gave it to me and I can’t switch it out for a different one. Does anyone have any tips on how to hold the sax? Thxxx and I appreciate it- Flutinetist ^~^
I jus got into JackSepticEye's hit song, All The Way, and I can not find any alto saxophone sheet musics for it. Does anyone have the time, effort or knowledge of making this song into sheet? It is a big ask, but I think It would be really fun!
