hey, any suggestions you could make of this would be appreciated https://musescore.com/user/26808935/scores/5388852
This is an original piece I've been writing. Its a work in progress, only two of four movements. I would really appreciate some feedback
You may recognize this post if you joined the Get Your Music Heard! group. I've been searching for a good piano solo song that shows a degree of virtuoso, intellect and emotion, for quite some time now, and I'm wondering whether the members of this group has got what it takes to impress me! Each week I will set a particular style to follow (that is, to compose), and the style of piece allowed will change every week. Here is a guideline for some simple rules to follow:
1. Instrument: Piano Solo only
2. Duration of piece: Maximum of 7 minutes
3. Style of piece that is allowed this week: Impressionistic and/or Etude
4. Only one piece per person per style
5. How to leave the comment:
Example -> Etude:
Example -> Challenge accepted: (add link)
The submitted piece must be at the same difficulty and/or harder than these pieces mentioned:
1. "Prelude to the Water Sprites" from Prelude to the Water Sprites/The Water Sprites Allure and Curse by The Curious Guy:
2. "Splashes" from Reflections: A Suite of Picturesque Experiences by Skylighter
3. "Prelude in G# minor" by trngl
4."Etude in B major" by JustisB
5. "Paraphrase on Carol of the Bells" by yesverymuch
CHALLENGE(S) OF THE WEEK:
a) Do an Impressionist music representing the sea that is harder and/or equal to Prince781's At Sea -> link: https://musescore.com/prince781/at-sea-wip
b) Do a etude for the left hand only
I will personally rate them from a scale of 1-5. I rarely give a 1, but it's also very hard to earn a 4.5 to 5. The winner is the one with the highest rating in the week, and those with a score of 4.6 and above will be featured in the following week's contest and may possibly judge the next style's contest. I hope you join, and I look forward to listen!

here's the sheet music
“Music is the one incorporeal entrance into the higher world of knowledge which comprehends mankind but which mankind cannot comprehend.”
Hi all !
My name is Wandrille, I'm 15, and I'm organist. Found of J.S. Bach and baroque music, I have got a challenge: upload all the arrangement of Bach's organ works, and maybe more, like cantatas, pieces of the Well Tempered Clavier, etc. If you are interested in all those works, you can have a look at my dashboard and I would be pleased if you decide to follow me.
Thank you very much for your attention, and god bless you all !
Marc-Andre Hamelin is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest virtuosi alive, and has recorded all manner of pieces. I would like to enquire as to the personal preferences of this group with regard to this Canadian master?
My own favourite recordings of his:
Alkan's Symphonie pour Piano Seul; Concerto pour piano seul; Le Festin d'Esope.
Liszt's Sonata H-moll
Saint-Saens' Piano concerto no. 2, third movemnet.
That last piece he performs unassailably.
I really like the tenor saxophone+horn in F combination.
Hellllo Everybodyy!!! I'm pretty excited to share with you this extremely simple tip on making string sections sound soooo much fuller!
I know that this group isn't very active but I think it should be!
If we updated the profile image and background we could attract alot more newer people to share and express their ideas on saxophone.
I think its important also, to change the name to be inclusive to also military band saxophone. Military band is a very sepecial place in the history of the saxophone and such we should engage in that part of our history aswell!
I have to say bass. In an orchestra with two of each woodwind, adding a desk of bass saxophones has great results. With the saxophones playing the bass part, the bassoons are free to play the tenor part. You could also use tenor or baritone saxophones to play the tenor and the bassoons play bass but I prefer to use the bassoons as tenors.
I would love your feedback on this 'epic' 24-minute song which took me a month of work!
Please check it out, comment, and follow my channel!!!
I'm a beginner composer, and I just finished composing this piece for cello and piano. I feel like that I may need to cut back on a lot of the notes. If you could, can you please have a listen and give me your feedback?
That, and if there's a more appropriate title...
Thank you very much!
A little and cheap - but happy - ragtime I composed for a girl I met in a summer camp this year.

My first piano composition on which I added a little improvisation part. This is my first score; I made it to try and test the software. I promise you I will post more difficult scores very soon :-)
This piece is very hard to play respecting the keys, so you are allowed to play some notes in G clef with your left hand.
