This is my first string composition and honestly its not very good, I can't put my finger on what I need to improve and how to improve it though. Any and all tips help a TON. Thank you.
I'm using Chrome on an Android smartphone, and I loaded my Notifications page earlier today. Several minutes later, I still get a spinning blue circle instead of any results. This persists when I reload the page. Does the new formatting (more prominent "settings" link, etc.) have anything to do with it?
I showed my dad my latest orchestra composition and he said he was really impressed and he liked it!!! And I'm really really happy now!!!
Hey all! I'm going to audition for my local junior orchestra in the fall, and need some advice... here are the requirements:
A solo or piece of your choosing that fully demonstrates your finest playing, such as a piece you are working on in lessons or a piece you performed with your school
A classical concerto for your instrument of your choice
Major scales and arpeggios up to four flats and sharps
Melodic minor scales and arpeggios up to four sharps and flats
I have the last four down, I just need help finding a solo piece. If any of you have any suggestions, i'm in need!
Here are two pieces I've transcribed:
The first one, Ballad of the Prince, is still a WIP, but the second one is finished. I'm thinking, once I finish the Ballad, I'll add some orchestral back-ups and such to both of them.
I'm working on transcribing the rest of the music from the Kingdom series and Knights of Arrethtrae by Chuck Black. All music you find in the back of those books is written by Emily Black.
Nintendo is making a new Switch model that has almost twice the battery, and a few other additions such as faster loading!
I have been using Musescore for 2 years now and I have been looking for ways to implement drags into snare parts and I haven't been able to figure it out. Does anyone know how to add them in?
Let's play!! I'll start, but first, let's explain it for those who haven't played:
I will say three things about myself. THE THREE THINGS HAVE TO BE ABOUT YOU. They can't be facts like "mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell" or "a kilogram of steel is heavier than a kilogram of feathers".
Two of these three things are true, and one of them is false. You guys have to identify the lie! Whoever guesses the answer first gets a point.
Go ahead and comment your own two truths and a lie! The point system will stay in place, and I'll tally points up once this discussion dies out!!
My three things are:
My favorite flowers are pink peonies.
I'm allergic to latex.
I hate watermelon.
And the game starts...NOW!!!
o brapple this blew up :))
Just a song I made a while back...
Hello all, this is my first post.
All i'm asking is if i put a score of a solo nylon acoustic guitar piece in to musecore 3 how do i get musescore to add tab below? I've noticed many score/tab hybrids have the notes on the thinnest strings are on the tab when playing on the wound strings gives it enough body, is there a way around this automatically rather than having to do it manually? Also, i read of the ability to put straight up tablature in and have musescore add a score, how is this possible?
The score i have is Farewell by Sergio Assad, and i'd like to turn the free tab of Schnee in Istanbul by Carlo Domeniconi in to a tab/score hybrid as found on classclef.
Thanks very much.
So a while back I posted a score to this group, and after working on it some more I'm putting it back up to get more feedback. It's really different from everything I've done in the past and I'm not very certain if I like what I've made yet. Any feedback would be welcome, especially for the ending, which I feels less "ends" and more "stops".
