Keyboard

23 discussions • 3.8K scores • 456 members

The aim is to create a repository of keyboard music composed for instruments such as the piano, harpsichord, organ, synthesiser and digital keyboard to more specialist and obscure instruments e.g. hurdy gurdy or celeste.

It is hoped that all music submitted will be performable and of a good standard.

Music can be in any style and for any level of difficulty. It would be useful if both the style (genre) and difficulty level (perhaps on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being beginner level and 10 being virtuoso) are given in the description and tags.

OVNI Orquestra de Violoncelos Noturnos Interplanetários - Brasilia Cello Ensemble

2 discussions • 83 scores • 174 members

OVNI is a Brazilian Cello Orchestra established in 2015, which its first performance was at the Brasilia Planetarium, in October 1st 2015.
"OVNI" means UFO in Portuguese. A nice play of words to show the jolly spirit of the group.
Since then, students are improving the repertoire of cello ensemble for beginners, and playing music while the public can listen and see at the same time stars, planets, galaxies, the cosmos and all the wonders planetariums can provide.
The orchestra does its rehearsals at the Escola de Música de Brasilia (the capital of Brazil, just a few yards of the National Congress) under the supervision of cello teacher Danilo Chaib.
In 2017 the group changed the initial I which originally was meant for "Iniciantes" (Beginners) to "Interplanetários" (Interplanetary) which at this point makes more sense :)

Musecorps

14 discussions • 66 scores • 150 members

Musecorps (pronounced as "MuseCore") is a group that aims to provide a home for fans of both drum corps and marching band.

Have an original composition for a marching band? Did you arrange your favorite song(s) into a drum corps format? Do you have a transcription of a drum corps or marching band show you want heard? This is the place to do it!

I hope to hold arrangement/composition competitions in the near future, so keep an eye open for that!

Bass Solo Scores

5 discussions • 19 scores • 125 members

Note:
As the scores will added, they will be placed in the relevant discussion-catalogues with links.
========================

Amazingly, but on this site the "Search" doesn't find any groups with the word "bass" or "bass guitar" in the name!

Here it is supposed to gather a collection of scores in which the any bass (guitar or contrabass, bassoon or contrabassoon, or cello in the lower register, or another) has a really interesting party, own line, fully or partially solo.

Genre of music is not limited!
It should be a quality score of an interesting work — that's the only limitation!

Everyone can add their own brick to this beautiful Palace! :-)

French Horns Unite!

2 discussions • 1 score • 9 members

Hello, I am Seth. I'm a horn player and I am tired of all of the dead French horn groups on Musescore. So I to take a shot at running one. I will try to post weekly stuff on horn players, horn models, music, etc... You guys can post whatever you want but keep it appropriate, please. Oh yeah, you can post your works too, especially if there are for horn.
