hey, any suggestions you could make of this would be appreciated https://musescore.com/user/26808935/scores/5388852
We have many, many roles; but if you need more, always feel free to @ administration! We focus on the more technical side of music, but we have channels for other genres such as rock, jazz, pop, electronic, etc! We're here to help everyone!
I wanted to play Kelly Clarkson's 'Underneath the Tree' with my sax ensemble for our Christmas concert coming up, but the sheet music just doesn't seem to exist out there for the arrangement I need, or anything close. My ensemble includes Alto Tenor and Bari saxes, and we have somewhere around 8 members who play whichever one we need for a part. If someone has the time to make an arrangement of this song with these parts it would be greatly appreciated and I can also send you a recording of the performance if you'd like. The arrangement would have to be at least somewhat simple, and if the solo in the middle isn't quite right, or just has space for improv that's fine. I would probably need the piece in about 2 weeks in order to actually perform it, and if someone does take up the challenge, I do apologize for the time crunch.
So this is a work in progress, containing only two of four movements, but I would appreciate some feedback.
Hey guys! If you'd be so kind, please view my marching band arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner and maybe leave a comment on what you think! Thanks! Here's the link: https://musescore.com/user/27336984/scores/5386177
Hi, I am willing to finalize a musical score for anyone that puts a link to their music in the comment section (Meaning I will make your score look professional to the best of my ability). I will even put together separate instrument parts. I am thinking about careers in design and formatting and I believe the work of a music copyist combines my love in music with my future goals. I am doing this for practice so I will charge no money for the peoples scores that I choose to finalize. Thank you
I've been working on this Jazz piece for about 2 or 3 weeks now and there are several spots that are still super rough. If anyone has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated. I am getting stuck on transitions and accompaniment parts to the main melody of my piece.
Hello composers, greetings from Spain! can i have feedback on my new score? Thanks!
I know one of the biggest challenges for most new musescore users is how to add tremolo and pizzicato to strings, and mute to trumpets. I know it baffled me for a while, but I want to spread the word on how it is done in a way that it will generate actual AUDIO PLAYBACK!!!!!
(I will be using tremolo as an example, but the process is exactly the same for pizzicato and mute.)
Step 1: Click on the note where you want to start. When that note is highlited (usually in blue), click Ctrl + T (Or use the menu to do Create > Text > Staff Text).
Step 2: Type whatever you want here, although just to avoid confusion, you should write "tremolo" Or even some specific directions, like "Slow Tremolo" or "Furious Tremolo".
Step 3: Click away from the text box. Now drag it until it is in a suitable place. (The text box will often initially be created inside of some notes, so just make sure it is clearly out of the way, yet right above the notes you want to start the tremolo at, similar to if you wanted to add a tempo text box.)
Step 4: Right Click on the text box you just created, and in the dropdown box, click Staff Text Properties.
Step 5: Check the "Channel" box, and then click the Tremolo option.
Step 6: At this point, you are done, and musescore will play the tremolo sound. However, if you want your piece to be readable and playable by musicians, you should add real musical tremolo marks onto the notes, via the palette on the left. (The same one that has dynamics, lines, Accidentals, etc.) THESE MARKINGS DO NOTHING FOR THE MUSESCORE PLAYBACK, BUT ARE NECESSARY IF YOU WANT THE PIECE TO BE PLAYABLE BY MUSICIANS.
Let me know if you have any questions, and try to spread the word! I will be copying and pasting this discussion in as many groups as I can! Thank you all and please give me feedback!
(P.S. you will probably not be seeing any more compositions from me for a while. I am currently working on a LARGE orchestral suite, hopefully over an HOUR LONG. This will be in the form of a full soundtrack as a demonstration of what I can do. I have no movie to go along with, but I will via text tell the listener what is supposed to be happening. I wanted to say this to explain my soon to be absence from the sheet music list. I will keep listening, commenting, and participating in discussions, however!)
Sup! I'm Anthony, I'm a senior in high school (go TSA), and I really enjoy making orchestra music. Above is my first ever completed piece, and let me tell you, it's trill as hell! You ain't heard a song with a bass line this THICC since Cardi B honey, check it out!
Currently, I am working on a collaborative sonata(1st mov) with Chopin, I mean David(final), and Juergen B.(2nd mov.). We are looking for someone else to do the scherzo movement, please comment below if you want to do this.
Hi i'm new and i am turning 13 next month. I am a composer, but do I count as teen? If i do please give feedback to a piano song I made.
I'm having trouble finding a good app to compose music on and I need to get it all done hopefully by January 1. Does anyone know any good FREE programs or applications I can use to compose some sixties sounding + Russian/Jewish sounding stuff? I've been using Ensemble, but it's pretty much useless if you're not using pro. (I'm not paying anything because I have exactly zero dollars to my name)
I've been hoping for some feedback on my most recent piece. Thank you for any feedback given!
I've changed my most recent score since I first posted it, and I would love any feedback I can get! Thanks :)
Could you guys critique this short piece please?
