Hello everyone! I wrote another piece today titled Memories. I would love if you would give it a listen and some feedback! Thank you in advance!
Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to find your nerdy self from years gone by. As you can see in my new profile picture, I'm sporting some awful glasses and a weird mullet-I-don't-know-what-else-to-call-it-thing.
You must find a cringe-worthy picture from the 70's-90's to use as your new profile picture for the rest of the month.
Best of luck to all participants. You'll need it.
Hello everyone! @realrandynewman and I are doing this very fun cuphead pastiche medley. So how this works is everyone makes one piece based on the big band jazz from cuphead. This can either be a plane battle piece a run and gun or a regular boss battle. We need at least 7 people to complete the medley. Each piece must have a rhyming name like "Wolly warbles in aviary action" or "eartha earthquake in jungle rumble". When your done Randy will fix the pieces up and put it in the medley. Put a comment saying what the name of your piece will be and get our piece up in the next 3 weeks and you can be in the medley!
Have a good day!
Well, I've seen a lot of people is pretty skilled in this group. I'm starting to think I don't even know how to play the piano after watching some sheet music around here. I would like some help with a song. I'm trying to isolate the original piano from the song >>She believes in me<< (kenny rogers) and I think it is kind of far from my skills. If somebody can help me with this song of some among you already have it please send me a message.
TYVM for your thank your attention
The bond between Man and Frisbee is an incredibly special one, cherished for life. But when that bond is broken prematurely, the only thing that can be done is memorialize it with a song. This is that song. https://musescore.com/user/4855526/scores/2682786

Okay. SO, I'm writing a new song. I'm mostly writing in parts for Piano, Acoustic Guitar, and the double bass/contrabass/upright bass, but I'm open to suggestions. I don't know what all I'm going to do, but I DO know that I'm starting with the repeated part of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and I know I'm going to have Angel by Theory of a Deadman in there. I'm going to have bits and pieces of other songs too, but I need help writing a transition from Nothing Else Matters to Angel. Any ideas?
So, I tried using musescores pdf import page to translate one of my pdf's into a midi file or whatever it does, and all I get is a white screen when I click 'Select PDF File'
No options, no nothing, just a white screen. Any way to fix this or is it a network problem?

Working on an orchestral remake of this beautiful song by Sanxion7 aka SaxxonPike. Anybody who wants the MusicXML file or wants to collaborate can send me their email via personal message or contact me at email@example.com
We are on the final stretch at the moment, and I really want this to sound as great as possible
So, I had a realization yesterday, and that was that I simply won't have time for musescore due to school and other music business outside of school. I'm simply too busy to do anything else, I barely have time to sleep. So, with that said, I think I'm just gonna back away from musescore for a while so I can focus on the important stuff, so consider me on an official hiatus. I may come back, I may not, we'll see what the future holds first. You guys are amazing, I thank you for continuing to support me, I love you guys. I bid you goodbye for now. We shall meet again in time my friends.
I want to add my beautiful midis to the group and have no idea how, someone help me
So after being on Musescore for 18 weeks, 3 days, I’ve noticed a couple things that the average user should apply, to make everyone’s time on Musescore enjoyable and productive.
First of all, the system is rigged for “pro users.” In a random selection of 27 pros, the average number of followers was 220, when a similar sample of well-known non-pro-users turned up none with even 200 followers, 10% below the AVERAGE of the “pros.” Now, a case can be made that non-pro-users are not as committed composers, therefore not being as good. However, a composer’s piece seems to be legitimized if that little pro icon is down by the user’s name. Musescore users, especially pros, should not be prejudiced by not looking at a certain composer’s material if that user is not a pro.
So here’s my solution to this problem: be courteous. That’s all. There should be some etiquette that gets applied. Here is my list for how EVERY user should treat every other Musescore user:
I – if a user follows you, check out their music. You may be surprised with what you hear.
II – if a user favorites a work of yours, check out their music. If they like your music, it shows that you have similar tastes.
III – if a user comments on a piece of yours, check out their music. If they took the time to listen to a piece of yours, they deserve your respect for being a good audience.
Now, this list is not comprehensive. Just be courteous, and do what you would want others to do to you. The golden rule is key here.
I hope that those who read this pay attention to it, and take it to heart. There are so many great non-pro-users who don’t get the recognition they deserve, simply because they are not a pro user.
Thanks for reading this rant. :)
So, I recently sequenced a demo song (midi format), but I no longer have access to a laptop to upload and edit the score. My proposal, whoever wants the song can enter their email in the comments section below and I'll send the midi file to you. You can keep it original, remix it, change it completely, I don't care, as long as if you publish it, I do get credit for the original sequence.
Our transcriptions have been gaining increasing popularity over the past month even some sheets rising up to result number 1 on google. However with increased attention we are no longer able to keep up with the demand. Ergo We are starting a Team of skilled individuals to bring quality transcriptions of songs/covers on a more regular basis. If your are not great at transcribing but are good with music theory and making a score look pretty we need people for that as well. Anyone interested contact us at「firstname.lastname@example.org」
So today is my last day and that means I will not be active for the next few months due to lack of a laptop and Internet and also vacation trips I'm taking. So, with that, I guess I'll go ahead and say if anybody wants to finish the two projects that I have up (I Gotta Feeling & Boom Boom Boom Boom), they are welcome to finish it and repost it if they wish, with usual crediting rules. So this is it, after today I'm no longer active for the next 70 days. It's been fun, see you guys after summer break
Only 9.5 days of school left for me. Unfortunately, that also means 9.5 days to get done what I need to get done on musescore because I don't have access to a laptop or anything back home. So, from June 2nd onward, I won't be active for a while due to lack of resources. I might pop up once in a while if I get time to go to the library, but I won't be at it again until August. Really, the only thing I'm concerned about at this point is my two WIP remakes I Gotta Feeling & Boom Boom Boom Boom. I certainly wouldn't want to just leave those as WIPs for a couple months. So, just giving you guys a heads up for when I disappear in a little over a week from now
So I'm transcribing a warm-up exercise for marching percussion which uses a 4:3 ratio paradiddle. You can find the .pdf file here: http://www.freedrumlinemusic.com/sheetmusic/pdfs/43ratioparadiddles.pdf
The problem, though, is I can't figure out how to actually get the 4:3 ratio to work. Is there a specific notation I need to put in or can this not be achieved yet?
