Kevin is an active performer who plays bluegrass and jazz, though his listening habits span virtually every genre. A self-described music theory nerd, he loves to analyze chord changes and harmonic structure.

Justin has been a music journalist and photographer for over 20 years, having written for many music-centric publications. He attended college at the University of Minnesota. He is a guitar builder and lover of all things music-related. He does play guitar, bass, and piano in whatever little free time he can find.

Anna Stoll

Anna Stoll is a vocalist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She studied vocal performance at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, but has played piano from a young age and has performed with various concert bands and orchestras as a percussionist and violinist. When Anna’s not performing, she’s arranging for instrumentalists and a capella groups.

David Slavković

Starting guitar at the age of 9, David Slavković explored a variety of genres, mainly blues rock, classic metal, psychedelic trance, jazz fusion, classical, and various forms of world music. After some formal and informal education in music, as well as becoming an agricultural engineer, he joined Ultimate Guitar's editorial team in 2017, where he's now the Senior Editor, overseeing a team of writers more talented than him.

Corey Brown

Corey Brown is the Head of Editorial at Muse Group. He began playing double bass at age 10, later adding saxophone and bass guitar, along with any other instrument he could get his hands on. He studied Music Composition at the University of North Texas. In 2009, he launched No Treble to combine his passion for bass and digital publishing. The publication grew into a leading online resource for bassists and was acquired in 2025.

Jason Chapman

Jason Chapman is the Product Owner of MuseSounds, where he focuses on developing next-generation instruments for notation software.
He began playing piano at an early age and discovered MIDI and synthesis as a teenager while growing up in Northern Ontario, Canada. Jason studied Music Theory and Composition at Western University and later Audio Engineering at Fanshawe College. He spent 15 years teaching music and technology at both institutions, developing courses such as Song Composition and Analysis, while working with emerging artists as a producer, engineer, and arranger. Before joining Muse Group, he led sample library development at Production Voices, creating virtual instruments used by composers and producers around the world.
